Hanover, November 17, 2011. ContiTech's 'Engineering Green Value' brochure wins 2011 Econ.

Hanover-based ContiTech AG has won the prestigious 2011 Econ Award in gold with their brochure 'Engineering Green Value'. The prize, which has been presented by Econ-Verlag and Handelsblatt since 2007, is awarded in recognition of the best German-language corporate communications. "A convincing visualization and the courage to speak frankly about critical issues is, in this case, just as important as content with substance as well as a coherent corporate image and communications strategy", says Klaus Rainer Kirchhoff, head of the jury.

“We are delighted with the highly positive feedback the jury has given us regarding our work and in particular the response from customers, employees and our company’s market partners,” said Anja Graf, Vice President of Communications at ContiTech AG. "Sustainability is firmly anchored as a key reputation factor in our corporate and communications strategy. In designing the brochure, ContiTech AG purposely moved away from the classic sustainability report. Instead, 'Engineering Green Value' conveys the company’s activities in the field of sustainability in a vivid and entertaining manner.
