Hanover, March 2011‘Engineering Green Value’ – at ContiTech, this basic idea stands for our special commitment and technological expertise in the development, production, and application of products. ContiTech's newly published brochure ‘Engineering Green Value’ highlights the company's efforts to protect the environment and the global climate. The company aims to make a crucial difference and help ensure the well-being of future generations. “In our globalised world, we focus on creating sustainable values – economically, ecologically and socially. We shape a good chunk of the future with our employees and partners. This publication reflects this”, notes Heinz-Gerhard Wente, ContiTech CEO.

At the heart of the brochure are the ‘Green Stories’, which describe the far-reaching production innovations achieved by the business units. They also showcase the eight business units’ long-term and ongoing growth in competence. As a technology leader, the company teams up with partners in industry to solve urgent matters related to demanding applications. Resource conservation, durability and low-maintenance are target parameters guiding this activity. Scrap avoidance and human and environmental safety are still others.

At the back of the brochure, there is an extra booklet chock full of facts and figures on ContiTech”, points out Communications head Anja Graf in presenting the work. The leaf cut-outs on the title page put the reader directly in touch with one of the company’s sustainable products – the climate-neutral printing blanket from ContiTech Elastomer Coatings.
