Innovative Prowess and International Growth – in the Latest Edition of ContiTech initiativ.

In the latest edition of ContiTech initiativ, we focus on Brazil, a growth powerhouse for the world economy. Together with India, Russia and China, Brazil counts among the world's fastest growing economies. ContiTech has been active in the country since the late 1990s – and is giving German innovative prowess more and more of a "Made in Brazil" flavour.

The new head of ContiTech Air Spring Systems, Hannes Friederichsen, is confident: Everything points to above-average growth. To better cash in on the booming Brazilian truck business, his business unit is likewise active there. He envisions further growth markets in the rail transport sector and – geographically – in India in particular.

There is increasing demand for high-quality and lightweight vehicle interior materials from Benecke-Kaliko – especially in American cars. The U.S. auto industry is meeting customer demand with new concepts. Shawna Soule, the head of Benecke-Kaliko in the NAFTA region, has her ear close to the ground when it comes to new trends.
